Neighbourhood Watch is not only about watching out for your neighbourhood and getting to know your neighbours; it's also about keeping your neighbourhood clean.

Nobody likes to live in an area with trash everywhere and all types of pollution. Unfortunately, many people live in this type of place, but there are ways everyone can contribute to making their neighbourhood nice and clean for everyone around to enjoy.



• First of all, set a good example and don't litter.
• When you're walking your canine, always carry waste bags, bag the canine waste (Canine waste contains lots of nasty bacteria) and dispose of it when you get home. It is never polite to leave the bag of waste on property for someone else to clean up.
• Organize a neighbourhood cleanup, Neighbourhood Green. This could be a good way of getting to know your neighbours.
